We love to offer our valued customers the very best of food and we have introduced a new feature for the summer months.

With a little notice (normally 24 hours) we can source and prepare a seafood extravaganza for you and your guests or a side of our scrummy smoked salmon or why not spoil yourself and enjoy one of our cream teas.

The Ducane Seafood Platter

We believe seafood especially shellfish is best brought and eaten on the day of delivery. Toby at Colchester Fish Supplies has access to the very best local seafood and together we have devised the following.

Expect to find ultra fresh lobster, mussels, oysters, dressed crab, shell on prawns, smoked salmon, Gravalax and scallops. Presented at table on a large serving flat with plenty of fresh lemon, crusty bread, New potatoes, melted butter, crème fraiche, hollandaise sauce and a few lobster picks marry this up with a cool bottle of white or champagne and make use of our gardens, unwind and enjoy with pleasant weather and plenty of banter.

We can obviously arrange single items from this selection.

Sides of Our celebrated Hot smoked Salmon

Why not try our amazing hot smoked honey and lemon marinated Salmon sides, rich smoked flavour with a sweet and sour tang, served on a board with asparagus, salad, crusty bread, new potatoes, fresh lemon, crème fraiche, hollandaise and melted butter

The Ducane Afternoon Tea

Pure indulgence, the quintessential repast spoils yourself and your guests with one of our sumptuous cream teas expect to find:

Delicate homemade meringues with cream, strawberry fruit tarts, home bakes scones with clotted cream and little scarlet jam, choux swans and lemon curd custard tarts.

Served with finger sandwiches of cucumber, home baked ham and finest Scottish smoked salmon.
