At the Ducane we like to think of ourselves as part of the local community and we try where possible to support local events and charities.

Here are some of the events we have supported:

• July 2009 Local Morris Dancing and local fun day
• Supported the Braxted Cricket Match between the Braxtonians and the Braxted Park Game Keepers September 2009 Game keepers Won
• Braxted Fete Beer tent and home baked cakes for the cake stand.
• Braxted golf Day lunch and prize giving
• Application made to take over maintenance of BT red telephone box for the local community.
• Braxted Park Christmas Lunch
• Fund Raising for little Totham Primary School.
• The Braxted walk supporting local schools
• Various prizes and donations including date the chef visits.
• Tolleshunt D’Arcy Primary School,
• Wickham Bishops Flower Show and Open Gardens.
• Local Art Show Euan Boyd Wallis
• Sponsor of Walk for Life, St Helena hospice, Farleigh Hospice.
• Local Supplier Tastings Grape Passion, Butterfly Farm cheese tasting.
